Pet's Story
Jewel was found as a pregnant, heartworm positive stray in a remote Northern community that has no access to veterinary care. After fostering her through her heartworm treatment, it became clear that she was already home. She has been my constant companion for over 6 years now, and I cannot imagine my life without her. Jewel loves everybody. She is pure joy on four paws, and she reminds me daily how wonderful life can be, if you only take the time to sniff all of it!
