Pet's Story
Meet Jet, our 14 year old Shivaneese Dog (part Shih tzu/Havenese) with a liver shunt, only a 30% working liver. Jet was not expected to live past age 4, so here she is defying the odds and giving so much love to our family. We recently learned she has cancer in her bladder and in the last year she has gone deaf and is partially blind. Jet is a survivor like her human Mom who is also battling her own cancer diagnosis. We want her to live her best life with what she has left whether it be 3 months or 3 years.
For every vote for Jet $1 goes to help raise critical funds in support of the Winnipeg Humane Society and the more than 10,000 animals we care for in shelter and throughout the community each year.
