Pet's Story
Meet Mary, a beautiful soul, she is pure love inside and out. I adopted her from the Winnipeg Humane Society two years ago. Mary arrived at WHS as a pregnant one year-old ( WHS gave her the name Whiskey ) After being placed with wonderful foster parents she nursed her puppies for eight weeks. Mary and her puppies came back to WHS and all of her puppies were adopted after a fun and funny puppy yoga class. I adopted Mary and she has found her forever home with me.
Now Mary gives back as a therapy dog at the Winnipeg Humane Society.
Mary is kind, gentle and loving, and she has a special bond with children and the elderly. In this photo, she is happily letting nurse school children play beauty parlour with her. She loves running sniffing and recently learned how to swim. Fetch is not her thing. Mary is a blessing to me and to everyone she meets.
