WHS Pet Walk MVP

Do you have the best pet around? Submit their photo for a chance to be the face of the Wisconsin Humane Society's Pet Walk Green Bay 2024! You can submit your pets' photos, then share their voting link with all your friends and family to help them climb the leaderboard. The animal with the most votes by noon on Thursday, Feb. 29 will be our 2024 Pet Walk MVP (Most Valuable Pet), serving as the spokes-critter on promotional materials and this year's event website. There are lots of other great prizes up for grabs, too!

25th ANNIVERSARY! It's a special year for Pet Walk GB, as we mark the 25th anniversary of bringing this event to our community to raise essential funds for animals who need it right here in our neighborhood. The event will be held this year on Sunday, June 2, at Pamperin Park in Green Bay. This is the largest and oldest fundraiser for animals at our Green Bay Campus, and features a leisurely stroll through the park, as well as music, local vendors, a doggie costume contest, family-friendly activities, plus games and treats for our four-legged participants! All proceeds will go to help local animals in need.

It's easy to enter! Simply submit your favorite photo of your pet, then share your page for family and friends to vote for your picture. The entry fee is $10 per animal and each vote costs just $1, all of which directly benefits the animals at the WHS Green Bay Campus.

Prizes

--1ST PLACE: Pet Walk Green Bay MVP--

The honor of your pet being featured on various digital and printed marketing materials representing the event. (Generic Pet Walk materials will be advertised until the winning photos have been received and graphics can be updated.)
Six registrations for Pet Walk Green Bay on June 2, 2024 (attendance by winner is not mandatory)
Photo shoot with Spunky's Paw Prints by Bobbi. (Winner must be willing to complete between 3/1 – 3/15. Will include a thirty-minute photo shoot of your pet, a minimum of 10 proofs, image editing and retouching.)
The chance to kick off the walk at the start line for you and your MVP. (If the winning MVP is not a pet that can attend, then this can just be for you!)
$25 Gift Card to D2 Sports Pub + a $25 gift card to use in our retail store at the WHS Green Bay Campus or online at http://shop.wihumane.org

--BONUS: Anyone who raises $100 or more in votes for their pet will automatically receive one free registration for the event!

Rules

The fee to enter is $10 per submission and each vote costs just $1 (there is a $5 minimum when purchasing votes) -- all proceeds benefit the animals at WHS
By submitting your image, you are allowing WHS to use your pet's photo and/or likeness in event promotions, and other marketing/fundraising efforts
Only photos of domesticated pets may be entered in the contest; no wild animals or humans
You must be 18 years or older to submit a photo in the contest
Please do your best to submit a clear photo of your pet
WHS reserves the right to reject any images or captions deemed inappropriate by staff or those that do not align with our standards of care
Absolutely no print photographs will be accepted
Winner must be willing to call for an appointment to schedule their photo shoot with Spunky's Paw Prints and complete their session between March 1-15.
