Your pet's story or bio
Jackson and Lucy were best friends despite being so different. Jackson was lively and energetic, even in the last few weeks of his life. Lucy is “chill,” which is why she is such an amazing pet therapy pup. We visit the memory unit at a Concord assisted living facility every week. I marvel at how dedicated she is to her work and how people respond to her. It is uncanny how she knows who needs her most. Jackson was my personal pet therapy pup; he filled my heart with joy daily and his passing has created an empty space for both me and Lucy.

Why are you entering your pet?
I am entering both Jackson and Lucy to remember one and celebrate the other because they are both special in their own way. They were a team - kind of a good cop/bad cop duo - but always happy and loving. I’m hoping that having them highlighted on a craft beer can might bring some closure to our loss and create a new and wonderful memory for Lucy and me.
