Your pet's story or bio
This is Benny, he is originally from Mississippi. He arrived at the shelter recovering from a compound fracture of his leg, a broken hip, and malnutrition. We're not sure how long he was left to fend for himself after his injury, but the accident left him with a permanent limp - but that never slowed him down! He was a wonderful family dog and loved each of us unconditionally. Some great memories include him opening his own Christmas gifts, his love for his yard, trips to Maine, and his big, lovable brown eyes that were always watching us.

Why are you entering your pet?
He was a special part of our family, and this seems like a fun way to honor his memory while supporting Pope Memorial SPCA so they can continue to help pets find their forever home.
