PittieLove Rescue, Inc. cordially invites you to participate in our 11th Annual It's a Pittie Life calendar contest! Enter our photo contest for a chance to see your precious ones featured in our 2026 calendar!.
Every dollar is a tax-deductible contribution that will be used entirely to care for the dogs at PittieLove Rescue.
Enter and Vote between 5:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Monday, April 14, 2025 and 9:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Sunday, June 15, 2025.
The top eight photos will be automatically included as pages in our calendar. The photo with the most votes will be featured as our cover page in 2026, and the remaining five photos will be chosen by PittieLove Rescue's volunteer team. That means that EVERYONE has a chance to be in our 2026 calendars!
View Prizes Here!Enter a high-resolution photo of your adopted Pit Bull. It is critical that your photos have a high resolution, are clear and well focused, and have a simple background, landscape photos work best. Please also include a few words about what makes your dog special, fun, and why you adore them. There is a $10 entry fee per photo, and there is no limit to the number of photos you can enter. All contest photos will be shared online, where your family, friends, and the general public can vote for their favorite photo(s). As votes come in, they will be displayed on the contest website. The cost per vote is $1, with a minimum purchase of 5 votes. Votes can be cast immediately or saved in your "vote bank" for later use.
Please vote early and often, and encourage your friends and family to vote as well.
Reserve a Day to Honor Your Pet
Just want a guaranteed spot in the calendar? Reserve a day to honor your pet. This can be for your pet's adoption anniversary, birthday, loved one's birthday, memorial or really any special day! Your pet's photo will appear on the day of your choice. Just choose your favorite photo and then choose the day and pay! First come first served! Once a date has been reserved, it will no longer be available.

We Want Your Dog to Look Fabulous in Our Calendar!
The three primary reasons for disqualification of pictures are:
- Too low of a resolution or blurry out of focus photos.
- The picture of the dog is too far away.
- The picture is too busy with other distracting items.
- Aversive Collars - choke chains, pinch collars or electronic collars. (we reserve the right to remove the photo or adjust the image)
Altered Rescued Pit Bulls or Pit Bull Mixes ONLY
NO negative training collars ie: Choke, Pinch or Electronic collars.
It's CRITICAL that photos be taken as a landscape orientation with the highest size and/or resolution setting available on your camera/phone otherwise it's not possible to enlarge them and still keep them looking good. You'll need at least a 6 Megapixel camera/phone photo to get enough resolution for the larger picture.
When you submit digital images, do NOT make any modifications to the original picture. We'll make any modifications, if necessary, if they are selected.
This IS a Rescued Pit Bull Calendar, so submitted images should have a rescued Pit Bull in the photo. It's okay to have other critters in the photo with the Pit Bull, just be sure they don't have two legs, we want the focus of the photo on the dogs. (
For the purposes of this contest, we define a "Rescue" as a dog that was rescued from a Shelter, Rescue Organization, through Shelter and Rescue contact lists, or off the streets (stray). Dogs purchased (or obtained) from breeders, pet shops or individuals typically do not qualify unless they have gone through the "Rescue experience". Contact us for a ruling if you believe you have such an exception. Digital images are
NOT returnable and become the sole property of PLR. By entering the contest, entrants grant PLR permission to utilize their name, photo and story on its website, newsletters, blog and other publications used by the organization to further its mission.
If a winning image resolution is to low you will be asked to supply another photo. If a high resolution image is unavailable, the next top scoring photo may be selected to take its place in the calendar.
All submitted photos are subject to review by PLR.
Inappropriate or offensive photos will be removed
Submissions and Voting ends at 9:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Sunday, June 15, 2025.
All donations are non-refundable.
