Channing, our incredible American Pit Bull Terrier, was a shining example of strength, love, and resilience. From the day we adopted him at just 9 months old—when he weighed only 48 lbs—he quickly grew into a 77 lb athlete with a heart just as big. Channing hiked every mountain chain in the Berkshires, roamed the oceanfront, and joyfully explored local trails in Central Massachusetts. Even after being diagnosed with prostate cancer, which eventually spread to his stomach, he battled bravely for a year and a half without a single complaint. Through every round of chemo, he remained gentle, affectionate, and full of life—never showing aggression, always eager to greet people and animals alike with a wagging tail and happy spirit.
