Upload your pup’s photo and get a custom link to rally support. Votes are $1 each (min. $5) — no account needed to vote! Promote far and wide: social media, email, even smoke signals. The more votes your dog gets, the closer they are to the cover!
All funds raised through the calendar contest and sales go directly to the care of the dogs we rescue. Many of our Pointers arrive needing much more than just basic vetting - extensive medical treatment, surgeries, medications, and ongoing care. Your support also helps cover emergency boarding for urgent rescue cases, giving us time to find safe foster or adoptive homes. Every dollar makes a difference and goes straight to helping dogs in need.
Purchasing the 2026 PRO Calendar- The 2026 PRO Calendar will be available for purchase through the PointerRescue Organization Zazzle store. We expect to have the final calendar ready for purchase by November 1st 2025.

Grand Prize (1 Winner):
Grand Prize Winner will be featured on the 2026 PRO Calendar cover. The grand prize winner will also receive a complementary PRO 2026 Calendar and a PRO hoodie!
Next 12 Winners:
The next 12 top-voted dogs will be featured on the monthly pages (January–December) and receive a PRO mug!
All Entries:
All other entries will still be featured somewhere in the calendar—we don’t leave good dogs behind!
Photo Submission Guidelines
- One photo per dog, but feel free to enter multiple dogs from the same household!
- Rescued Pointers only (also known as English or American Field Pointers) — but they don’t need to have been adopted through Pointer Rescue Organization (PRO) to qualify.
- Entry is free! No fees required to submit your dog’s glamour shot.
- Each submission must include:
- Your dog’s name and age
- Rescue organization and year rescued
- Your name and mailing address (only city and state will be made public)
- A short note on why your Pointer deserves the spotlight as our next Calendar Cover Pup (200 words maximum)!
- Photos should be high-resolution and feature animals only (no humans, please!). Multiple pets are allowed in one photo, as long as at least one is a rescued Pointer. Images should be suitable for a general audience. Please avoid content with political, religious, or otherwise sensitive themes.
- Photos should be landscape orientation and ideally fit an 11" wide x 8.5" tall format (3300 x 2550 pixels). Low-quality or poorly lit photos may not be eligible for the grand prize but could still appear inside the calendar.

- Contest closes (submissions and voting): 9:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Tuesday, September 30, 2025
Voting- Voting is open to everyone—no registration required!
- Each vote costs $1.00, with a minimum $5.00 donation (5 votes).
- Vote as many times and for as many dogs as you’d like. Go wild!
- All votes are donations that go directly to PointerRescue Organization, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. That means your votes are tax-deductible!
- You'll receive a confirmation email/receipt for your records after each donation.
- Voting is securely processed through our trusted partner, Gogo Photo Contest.

Pointer Rescue Organization (PRO) is a 100% volunteer-run, nonprofit group dedicated to the rescue and rehoming of purebred Pointers (sometimes called English or American Field Pointers) across the United States.
