Sophia was saved by Polka Dogz in 2020 when she was surrendered at a year old for being "too much" for her family to handle. When she arrived at PDPR,she already had a litter of puppies though she was still just a baby herself. Her family stated they wanted to keep the puppies but no longer wanted her. After having spent most of her time tied up in the backyard, never having been socialized, skinny and crawling with fleas- this was beginning of her best life ever. I fell in love with her at first sight (and vice versa) and the rest is history.
