Chewy was rescued from Polka Dogz in 2020 during COVID. I just came across his photo on the rescue website and fell in love instantly. Had no idea where Howey in the Hills was but we were going regardless how far. About 3 hours. It was so worth it. Not only did we get a wonderful dog but also got to know a wonderful rescue. Polka Dogz rescued him from what I believe was ACC. He, along with his brother, Luke Someone gave them up because of their issue of fighting with one another. Both were in-neutered when rescued. Felt bad leaving Luke behind, but was told he was the aggressive one. Chewy is the most loving dog ever. He is a purebred Wheaten Terrier. He is 8 or 9 years old. We were told he was 4 or 5 when we adopted him.
