Welcome to our 2nd Annual Photo Contest Calendar!
From June 1st through June 30th at 9pm, you can upload your pets’ photos ($5 donation per photo entry) and ask your friends and family to cast votes ($1 per vote) online. The top 12 pets will be featured as the cover for one of the 12 months. All transactions go towards raising money for PCHS and the hundreds of animals we help each year.
Ways you can participate and help us raise money:
- Enter the Contest. Submit your favorite picture of your pet(s) for a chance to win the main spot for one of the 12 months. Each entry is $5.
- Vote for your favorite pets! Each vote = $1 and the proceeds fund PCHS’s critical work to help animals and people in our community.
- Reserve a day. Just want a guaranteed spot in the calendar? For only $10, reserve a day to honor your pet. This can be for your pet's adoption anniversary, birthday, loved one's birthday, memorial or really any special day! Your pet's photo will appear on the day of your choice. Just choose your favorite photo and then choose the day and pay! First come first served! Once a date has been reserved, it will no longer be available.
- Purchase a calendar. $25 picked up / $28 shipped. You have until Monday, 6/30/2025, at 9:00:00 PM to order your calendar.

Through your support and participation in events like our annual photo calendar contest, we can continue to go above and beyond for animals in need and continue our community programs.
Pope County Humane Society was established in 1985 and incorporated in 1987. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, dedicated to caring for lost, abandoned, and stray animals. Seeing a need for a dedicated nonprofit to support our community's animals, we formed our organization to provide solutions for animals in need. We've grown considerably since then, all thanks to the helping hands of this amazing community!
Pope County Humane Society also has many programs to help support animals in need: fostering, volunteering, rehoming and lost/found resources, and low cost services to our community. We are able to do what we do thanks to our donors, fundraisers, Class Act Thrift Shop, and adoption and surrender fees.
Prizes
- The top 12 pets with the most votes will be featured on one of the monthly cover pages with the top pet being featured the front cover of the calendar, as well as a monthly cover
- If your pet wins a cover spot, the opportunity to select a month is determined by the PCHS staff
