I adopted Piper a month ago. I lost my Bella in November, 2017 and was so depressed and heartbroken. I also lost her sister, Daisy (a Potter League Alum), to lung cancer in May, 2017. I have had dogs in my home for 19 years and was going to take a break. Then I saw Piper on FB and I just knew. Her owners were giving her up after having a baby several months ago. They had alienated Piper from their family because of the baby. Now Piper is thriving and so loving. She follows me everywhere and is a total cuddle bunny. She loves to play ball and run everywhere. She acts like a puppy at 4 1/2 years old. And she saved me and my husband from the sadness we had felt and the emptiness in our home.
