Is your pet a star? How about your very best friend? Then this photo contest is for you! Show your love and celebrate the special bond you share with your beloved pets in the Potter League's 2^nd Annual P.S. I Love You Pet Photo Contest.

Everyone is welcome to enter a photo of their pet in the contest along with a few words about how special they are and why you love them so much! Your pet(s) do not have to be adopted from the Potter League. Photos can include dog(s), cat(s), a combination of both, small mammals, birds, horses, or your pet of choosing. No human photos please.

You can enter as many photos as you like. The entry fee is $10 per photo. All photos submitted to the contest will appear online, where the public can vote for their favorite photo. People can vote as often as they like and votes will be displayed on the contest web page as they come in. The cost is $1 per vote with a minimum purchase of $5. Votes are stored in your vote bank and can be awarded to as many (or as few pets) as desired. Vote early, vote often, and encourage friends and families to vote. Best of all, proceeds from the entry fee and voting bring love and support to the animals at the Potter League.

Every pet entered in the contest will be featured in our Love Loop Slide Show that will be shown at the Potter League's spring fundraiser, LoveBash for Animals on Friday, March 23, at the Atlantic Resort Newport.

The P.S. I Love You Pet Photo Contest ends at 6:00pm on March 7. Great prizes will be awarded to the top 4 entries with the most votes, including complimentary tickets to attend LoveBash for Animals! Good luck!


The Grand Prize Winner will receive a 1.5 hour Pet portrait session with photographer Ashley Timms of Ashley Timms Photography of Newport. Pet portrait sessions celebrate your love for your family pets. Be it a dog, cat, or even a horse, these sessions capture every side of your best friend. Pet portrait sessions also include images showing the bond between pets and owners.

Your pet(s) will also be featured on the cover of the LoveBash for Animals program booklet.

Grand prize winner will also receive two (2) complimentary tickets to attend LoveBash for Animals, March 23 at the Atlantic Resort Newport.


The Second Runner Up will receive a 9 x12 custom portrait of your pet by artist Emily Hamel of Emily Hamel Design. All portraits are from your favorite photo of your pet and are pastel and are done on archival quality, acid free pastel.

First Runner Up will also receive two (2) complimentary tickets to attend LoveBash for Animals.


The Second Runner Up will receive a 8 x10 custom oil painting of your pet by artist Kerrie Ascoli of Pet Portraits by Kerrie. All portraits are painted in oil on canvas from your favorite photo of your pet.

Second Runner Up winner will receive two (2) complimentary tickets to attend LoveBash for Animals.


The third place winner will receive two (2) complimentary tickets to attend LoveBash for Animals and a 60 minute massage for your pet from Amber's Animal Massage.
