Amber was a 2 year old declawed, scared and cold kitty abandoned by neighbors one November when he made his way to our back deck where he found shelter underneath a deck chair. We soon realized his owners were not coming back for him and immediately gave him a home. He has a gentle loving soul and has been a constant companion. Now in palliative care at age 16 this is one of my favorite photos of him.
