Both of my furry babies came from Potter League. I adopted Buster in 2012, he was flown up from St Thomas VI, he was 12-13 weeks old. He’s a ‘Potcake’ from the islands. He is my first dog, I got Daisy about 4 years later, she came from San Diego and I was told she was between 1+2 years old. She already had a litter and earned her turquoise tattoo by the time I got her. Buster is on the left and Daisy is on the right. I can’t imagine being without them and wonder what took me so long to figure it out. Daisy is the perfect dog. I’d clone her if I could. She is affectionate, sweet and adorable. I can even get her to purr! That’s right, some chihuahuas purr. Buster is more my bodyguard. He never ever has his eyes off me. He tells me when it’s time for breakfast and dinner. He will come and get me when Daisy is at the door wanting to go out; she doesn’t make a peep. I’ve had so many people ask me what he is over the years that I had his DNA analyzed. He is 64% Chihuahua, 10% Pomeranian, 5% Pit Bull, 5% German Shepherd and 3% Doberman Pincer. That’s 13% Guard Dog, no wonder he’s always watching me. It was fun solving my mystery named Buster. I plan to do Daisy’s too, when finances allow. I love my Mutts. Adopting is definitely the way to go.
