This is a photo of Gizmo (AKC registered name is Gizmo Amadeus), taken when he was about a year old in 2009. We recently lost him in May 2025 at the ripe old age of 16.5. He was the light of my life, as you can see in this photo. Among his many nicknames was "Gizmo Sunbaby," because one of his favorite things to do throughout his life was to take naps in the sun. He'd always find a patch of sunlight on the floor and lay in it. As much as he loved the sunshine, he was the one who warmed our hearts. He loved everyone and being his friend was one of life's greatest gifts.
