Patriotic Pets Photo Contest

Does Your Pet Have the Most Patriotic Spirit?
Join us for our 2024 Patriotic Pets Photo Contest and show off your red, white, and blue with the cutest patriotic pet photos!

How to Participate:

  1. Register Online: Simply sign up to join our contest.
  2. Submit Your Photo: Upload your pet's photo for free. Patriotic-themed photos are encouraged, but not required!
  3. Share with Friends and Family: Encourage your friends and family to vote for your patriotic pet.
Voting Details:

  • Vote to Win: Each vote costs only $1 and is tax-deductible.
  • No Voting Limit: There's no limit to the number of votes you can purchase, so vote as many times as you like!
  • All Pets are Welcome: You don't have to solely post dog/cat photos! All animals are welcome to join!
  • Contest Deadline: The contest ends at 9:00:00 PM (Central Time) on Wednesday, July 10, 2024. Be sure to get all your votes in before the deadline!

Grand Prize:
Our grand-prize winner will receive a photo session from Hillerie Hedberg, along with an animal-themed framed photo of their winning picture.

Hillerie will provide a free 30 minute photo session of their pet which would include 6 edited digital images. All animals are welcome, including (but not limited to) goats, chickens, horses, dogs, cats, etc.

The adorable animal frame was donated by 785 Decor on Main Street, Ottawa and will fit a 4x6photo!

Reactive dogs are eligible to win, but owners are responsible for handling their dogs in a manner that protects the photographer.

Winner Announcement: The winner will be announced on Prairie Paws' social media channels on July 10, 2024. We will also contact the winner via email by Friday, July 12, 2024, at the latest.

Join the fun and celebrate Independence Day with us by showcasing your pet's patriotic spirit! Your participation supports a great cause and helps us continue our mission at Prairie Paws.
Rules
  1. Contest Period: The contest begins at 10:00:00 AM (Central Time) on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, and ends at 9:00:00 PM (Central Time) on Wednesday, July 10, 2024.
  2. Voting: No votes will be counted after the contest closes. Votes must be registered online to be counted. Prairie Paws is not responsible for technical issues that may prevent votes from processing.
  3. Voting Fee: Votes are $1 each, and there is no limit on the number of votes one can purchase. Each vote is tax-deductible.
  4. Eligibility: Your animal does not have to be a Prairie Paws Alumni to participate.
  5. Photo Submissions
    • Multiple pets are allowed in one photo.
    • You may submit your photo even if there is nothing patriotic in the photo, though patriotic-themed submissions are encouraged.
    • All pets are welcome – they don't have to be solely dogs and cats!
  6. Usage Rights: By entering, you grant Prairie Paws the right to use your photos at its discretion for print and marketing purposes.
  7. Winner Announcement: The winner will be announced on Prairie Paws' social media channels on July 10, 2024. The winner will be contacted by email by Friday, July 12, 2024 at the latest.
  8. Photo Requirements: Photos must be in digital format and submitted through the designated entry form on GoGo Photo No physical photos will be accepted. Participants must also own rights to the photos.
  9. Photo Content: Photos must be appropriate for all audiences. Prairie Paws reserves the right to disqualify any entry deemed inappropriate or offensive.
  10. Entry Fee: There is no entry fee for submitting photos.
  11. Prize: Details of the prize(s) will be announced on the Prairie Paws website and social media channels.
  12. Disqualification: Prairie Paws reserves the right to disqualify any participant who attempts to manipulate the voting process or violates any contest rules.
  13. Contact Information: Participants must provide a valid email address for communication purposes.
