Rules

Top 12 dogs and cats with the highest dollar amounts raised will be featured in the 2021 calendar.
Voting and entry is open from Dec. 1 to Dec. 28 with announcement on Dec. 30.
Between Dec. 1 and Dec. 28, you can donate any amount to your favourite dog or cat, and the winner will be the top dog or top cat of the Old Ottawa South Dogs & Cats Photo Contest.
All entrants can ask family, friends, and anyone they know to vote for their animal!
Every vote cost $1.
The contest is open to dogs and cats from any location.
All donations including the entry fee will go directly to the Project SANDbox initiative at Hopewell Avenue Public School to rebuild the kindergarten yard for the school.
Note that votes are for the animal and not the photo, and the final photos may differ from the ones on this page.
Photos of dogs or cats are accepted.
Photos may contain more than one pet.
Photos must only contain domestic pets (no people or wildlife).
Photos deemed offensive, indecent or obscene will be removed from the contest.
A print quality photo of each Top 12 animal must be provided by December 30, 2020 at 12 pm EST to be included in the production of the calendar.
If appropriate print quality photos are not provided by the deadline the Project SANDbox team will offer the spot in the calendar to the next runner up.
Donations made in support of an animal are valued at one vote for every $1.00 donated.
