Rules

The “Unofficial” Mayor of Rainbow will serve as a goodwill ambassador for the town. The winner will be expected to attend local events, business openings (ribbon cuttings, "mixers," etc.), parades and Rainbow Valley Grange community functions. The Mayor must be friendly to all humans and animals alike. It is their duty to be seen around town and be available to meet with residents, tourists and enjoy posing for photos. Pet must live in 92028 zip code. Pet must be able to attend the Protea Festival Hosted by the Rainbow Valley Grange on April 26, 2026 where the winner, as well as the Deputy Mayor (2nd runner up) will be announced.
