Harry is a 12 year old mixed breed who we rescued in 2010 from a pet hospital in San Jose, California at 9 months old. This adorable pup had a very rough start having been found abandoned and with a broken hind leg at just 4 months old. The compassionate vets and staff at this hospital spent the next several months not only surgically repairing his injury but also nurturing him through the rehabilitation process which required him to be confined to his crate until he was fully healed. At that point, the staff put him up for adoption and when we met Harry we fell in love! Having missed the key socialization window for puppies, he was very fearful of both new people and other dogs. Over time, Harry has become a little less anxious and has proven to be a devoted and sweet companion to our whole family!
