Adopted from FCSPCA last April, Amaya has blessed our family with her sweet spirit, ever gentle and youthful manner, and infectious curiosity. She was mama's girl at the start, terrified of everyone else in the family - including our then 1 year old son - and seemingly unaware of how to 'play'. Over time, with trust and affection, Amaya has bloomed. She loves her human brothers (now 3 and 8) and parents, and especially enjoys playing soccer with us. She plays and naps -and even grooms! - our two cats, which just goes to show how well they get along. Amaya means Night Rain in Japanese. She fits it - with her black coat and penchant for both nighttime outings and playing in the rain. She is still mama's girl, but is entirely loyal to our entire pack.
