Bear was found under a set of stairs with 9 other puppies, but no mom. He was the only one that didn't have a tail. We instantly fell in love. Bear has been our miracle dog. We learned he was epileptic after his 1st birthday. When we went into a seizure state when he was two, they told us his epilepsy was so severe, we may want to consider putting him down because in order to keep him alive, he would need to be on several medications that would probably not be so great for his liver. And they didn't expect him to live longer than 5. We celebrated his 10th birthday this summer. And even after having 33 seizures in 4 days last month. He continues to fight. We love our boy!
