Who We Are
The Red Wolf Coalition is the only nonprofit conservation organization devoted solely to ensuring that red wolves never again become extinct in the wild. Our mission statement defines everything we do and sets our course for the future.
The Red Wolf Coalition advocates for the long-term survival of red wolf populations by teaching about the red wolf and by fostering public involvement in red wolf conservation. What We Do
We advocate through education – teaching people about red wolves and engaging them in the work of conserving wildlife and habitat. Our informational material, programs and curricula are science-based, and our advocacy is grounded in truth and fact. Our long-term vision is to broaden our audiences, expand our programs and distance-learning capabilities, cultivate partners including state and federal agencies and government entities, encourage new red wolf advocates to support our work and bring people to our home in northeastern North Carolina's red wolf country. We are proud of our organization and our efforts. We encourage everyone throughout the nation and the world to join us in our mission to keep the red wolf forever wild in the southeastern United States.
