You know your pet is the cutest ever! Now you can share that adorable face and raise money for a great cause!
Ridgewood Baptist Church invites you to enter a photo of your pet (or multiple pets) in the Cutest Critter Contest! Entry will be free. Votes will cost $1. You can buy as many votes as you like, and you can also recruit votes from family and friends and by sharing through email, text, and social media. The photo with the most votes by the end of the contest wins!
The money raised by votes for your Cute Critters will go to Southwest Community Ministries Seniors Meals on Wheels Pet Program. SWCM’s Senior Pet Program delivers not only meals for home-bound seniors, but those with household pets also receive pet necessities like food, litter, cleaning/hygiene supplies, and even discounted or free veterinary visits! Our neighbors enrolled in this program are unable to independently leave their home for everyday outings like grocery shopping and social visits, and many of them do not have family or friends visit frequently, leaving their pet(s) as their most beloved companions. Southwest Community Ministries is proud to serve home-bound seniors and their cute critters!
Southwest Community Ministries unites churches, schools, businesses and individuals in Southwest Louisville to minister to those who are experiencing financial difficulties or other crises. In addition to Meals on Wheels, some of the other programs provided by Southwest Community Ministries include
- Emergency financial assistance for housing and/or utilities
- Food Pantry
- Seasonal programs that help with back-to-school supplies and Children’s Christmas

- Photos of dogs, cats, horses, small mammals, reptiles and birds are accepted.
- Photos must only contain domestic pets (no people or wildlife).
- There can be only one pet per photo.
- An individual may enter more than one pet.
- Photos must not be heavily filtered, edited, or altered.
- Ridgewood Baptist Church has final approval on all photos submitted. Photos deemed offensive, indecent, or obscene will be removed from the contest.
- All photos submitted become the property of Ridgewood Baptist Church.
- Photo submissions must include:
- Name of pet
- Owner's name
- Owner's email address
- City and state
- A paragraph which tells voters something fun or interesting about your pet is optional but may attract votes.
- No entry fee is required.
- Each vote requires a donation of $1. There is no limit to the number of votes an individual may cast for the duration of the contest. All donations for votes are tax-deductible.
- The pet with the most votes wins.
- The winner will be announced October 31, 2024.
