Rules

Official Rules

The contest is open to students grades 4-12.
Submitted Photo entries must be of original student work, completed independently or in class.
Please do not submit artwork previously displayed at the gallery.
We encourage you to submit a few sentences about your artwork to be displayed during the voting period.
Although you may submit multiple entries, each student is eligible for only one juried award.
Juried Awards are the sole decision of the Judge and final.
Viewer's Choice awards will be determined solely based on the number of votes.
We encourage you to share your entry and encourage others to vote, vote, vote!

Voting Fees

Each vote is $1. There is no limit to the number of votes you may cast.
You may vote for your own entry or you may spread your votes across multiple entries. You can also "bank" your votes for use later.
There are no refunds for unused votes.
When you purchase your "votes" you are donating to the RMAA Young Artist Expo – these are tax-free donations!
When you complete your transaction to purchase votes, you will receive a confirmation email which will serve as your proof of donation.

Miscellaneous

We reserve the right to decline publication of any entry for any reason.
The RMAA reserves the right to modify or clarify any of the contest rules during the term of the contest without advance notice. The RMAA is a 501(c)(3) organization.
Donations are tax deductible.
Once entered, you grant the RMAA rights to use your photo and story for marketing and grant application purposes, including publication, in the calendar, our grant applications, and/or on our website and social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram.
By participating in this contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the RMAA and Ringwood State Park and each of their officers, directors, representatives, volunteers and their families, agents (the Released Parties) from and against any claims of any nature arising out of participation in the contest or receipt or use of any prize.
The contest is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
