Pet's Story or Bio
Dusty is one of the puppies from my son's litter of puppies. Before he passed away he asked us to take on one of the 8 puppies from the litter. Because we had 2 Great Danes, getting another dog (let alone a puppy) was not on our bucket list. After we lost him (his name was Dustin) we took the pup and started a rescue in his honor.

Dusty was in training to become a Service Dog. She has mastered many of the tasks and obedience training, but as often seen in German Shepherd's is very attached to her human and does not do well with strangers. She has "washed out" as a Service Dog, but has become our Mascot for Stars and Stripes Dog Rescue.
