Story
The idea behind the rocker is that it is a way for people/ residents to have fun with their young grand/ great-grandchildren. Most little ones love a rocking horse, and most seniors love to rock! So we incorporated the 2 together so that both could enjoy something they loved, with the one they love .
The residents stuffed a sock to make the horse head, and the eyes are colorful buttons. They also made the mane and tail with yarn that they pulled apart so that it would have a little wave to it. And last, they covered a cushion with paisley print and added 2 cowboy hats, so the 2 “rockers” could go on a horse ride together.
The horse is easily removable for ease of access or if the adult just wants to rock. When the grandkids drop by, just slip the horse head down into the post holder, tighten, and instant rocking horse!
