Welcome to Rocky Mountain Puppy Rescue’s 2024 Calendar Contest! Here’s your opportunity to see your special pet featured in our Calendar! You and your friends and family’s participation will support Rocky Mountain Puppy Rescue and its mission to RESCUE, FOSTER, REHOME, REPEAT. Together we can save more lives!
The top 13 vote-getters will be featured as the cover (1st place) and pets of the month model in the 2024 Rocky Mountain Puppy Rescue Calendar.
The $20 contest entry fee guarantees every submitted photo a spot in our calendar! For example, if you are not a top vote-getter, your pet’s image will still appear in a photo collage.

Our photo contest welcomes pictures of all cats and dogs. Your pet does NOT have to be a Rocky Mountain Puppy Rescue alum to enter the contest.

Gift boxes that will consist of back country sleeping bags or outdoor beds, nerf toys, harnesses, leashes, outdoor gear, and MANY MANY other goodies for you and your pup/cat to enjoy. We will tailor sizes to fit your specific animal. Must be able to pick up gift box in person in Denver (or gift to someone local).
- Photos of cats and dogs are accepted. Your pet does NOT need to have been adopted from Rocky Mountain Puppy Rescue to be eligible to enter this contest. You can submit as many pets as you like!
- The photo you submit may contain more than one pet.
- People are not allowed in your photo, only pets.
- All photos of cats must depict them in an indoor setting.
- We cannot accept Polaroids, photos with digital overlays, heavily edited pictures, photos with stickers or doodles, or any copyrighted or professional photos.
- Photos must be high resolution (3650 pixels x 2740 pixels are recommended for printing purposes).
- If your pet wins, but the quality of your photo is not high enough, we will ask you to submit a new photo.
- Once entered, photos become the property of Rocky Mountain Puppy Rescue and may be used for print and marketing purposes.
- Entries must be submitted before 10:00:00 PM (Mountain Time) on Saturday, September 30, 2023.
