Prizes will be awarded based on total votes per photo at the end of the contest. Grand prize will be awarded to the participant who places first. First prize will be awarded to participants placing 2-9. Second prize will be awarded to participants placing 10-13. Third prize will be awarded to participants placing 14-29.


The winning pet will be showcased on the cover of our 2025 calendar and receive a complimentary 2025 Rover's Retreat Rescue Calendar.


Eight (8) first prize winners will receive full-page monthly placement within the calendar and a complimentary 2025 Rover's Retreat Rescue Calendar.


Four (4) second prize winners will receive half-page monthly placement within the calendar and a complimentary 2025 Rover's Retreat Rescue Calendar.


Sixteen (16) third prize winners will receive "above the fold" monthly placement within the calendar (approximately 1/8 of a page).

Several dozen runners-up will be featured as inset squares for each month.

The registration donation is $20 for one photo. Photos must be at least 300dpi and at least 1MB in size- 3650 pixels x 2740 pixels is preferred for printing purposes. Please no filtered/Photoshopped or altered images. Participants may only submit photos to which they have the rights to reproduce. Entries must be received by July 3 at 10pm. Event Coordinator reserves the right to request a different photo if the above criteria are not met. ANYONE CAN SUBMIT pictures, whether rescue from Rover's or not. All proceeds go to benefit of Rover's Retreat Rescue.

To enter the contest you will submit a photo of your pet along with your $20 donation, provide their name, your name and address, and a optional short paragraph (250 words or less) that tells voters about the pet(s) in the photo. No humans, please.

Rover's Retreat Rescue reserves the right to disqualify at any time any photo it determines to be unsuitable.

Contest votes are tax deductible. The email acknowledgment to your online donation serves as your tax receipt.

The selection process will be determined by electronic tabulations under the supervision of Gogo Photo Contest, whose decisions are final and binding.

All entries and photographs become the property of Rover's Retreat Rescue to be used at their discretion for any and all purposes without compensation. By submitting a photo entry, you warrant and represent that your entry is your own original work created by you and that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to your entry materials. If you submit an entry that is copyrighted by another individual, you are responsible for any legal action the copyright holder takes against you.

By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Rover's Retreat Rescue and the contest Sponsors and each of their respective officers, directors, representatives, volunteers and agents (the Released Parties) from and against any claims of any nature arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any prize.

The Contest is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.


Voting is open to everyone. Votes are $1 donation each. Each dollar donated equals an equivalent number of votes that are placed in the donor's "vote bank". A $5.00 donation equals 5 votes, a $10 donation equals 10 votes, etc. A minimum donation of $5 is required. You then take the votes in your vote bank and use them to vote on one photo entry, or spread them across your favorite photos. This is a fun contest to help us raise much needed money for Rover's Retreat Rescue in order for us to be able to help more animals in need.

If you submit a photo to the contest, you can email links to your family and friends to encourage voting for your photo. On your pet's public page, there is a "share" button that allows you to share your entry through Facebook and other social networking sites. Ask all of your friends and family to vote for your favorite photo and share! Share! Share! ANYONE can enter!
