A little about me...
When I first agreed to foster Lucy, I thought I was helping her find her forever home. What I didn’t realize was that she’d already found it… with me!

After being surrendered back to her rescue, Lucy was scared of the world and unsure who to trust. But from the moment our eyes met, I knew she was my forever best girl.

Today, Lucy’s world is full of sunshine, long walks on the Strand, beach zoomies, and plenty of squirrel patrols. She’s also a seasoned traveler and frequent flyer on United Airlines, joining her mom on many adventures.

This year, our little family doubled in size — Lucy got a dad and a brother! Watching her come out of her shell has been the greatest gift. People often say, “Wow, she’s a completely different dog from when you got her.” And they’re right! She’s still my scaredy-cat girl at heart, but now she knows she’s safe, adored, and forever home.

Next week, she’s taking on her most important role yet — Ring Bearer at our wedding! Wish her luck! 💍🐾
