Tell us about your pet"Skitty" was a devoted, loving and faithful Doberman Pinscher. She willingly accompanied our three daughters on cold, dark and rainy nights across the fields to the stable to do evening chores. Not to be left behind, she traveled to horse shows near and far as companion to both family and horses. Putting up with other creatures was part of her duty, whether a baby squirrel (fallen from a nest and free to roam the house), a Chihuahua, a pet rat, hamsters, gerbils or any number of cats who often preempted her food bowl. When needed as the final touch to a Red Riding Hood costume, she obligingly donned a filmy night gown, stuffed nightcap and glasses. Across the field and through the woods to school they went, where she spent the day lying quietly beside Red Riding Hood's desk except when parading through the halls of school with little Red to win the costume contest! The glasses never left her "Grandmother! What a long nose you have!"
