Is your pet adorable? Is your pet even more adorable wearing a Halloween costume? If you can answer yes to both these questions then we highly recommend you submit your photo to our 2018 Howl-O-Ween Photo Contest, sponsored by Laura Gillott Home Team!There's no way we trust ourselves with the difficult task of picking a winner so we're leaving the choice up to you! Best of all, 100% of proceeds from entry fees and voting go to help the pets at SafeHaven Humane Society.
All photos submitted to the contest will appear online, where the public can vote for their favorite pets. $5 purchases five votes that can be awarded to as many (or as few) pets as desired.
People can vote as often as they like and votes will be displayed on the contest web page as they come in. Vote early, vote often, and encourage friends and families to vote don't forget to share on your social media to get more votes! The goal is to raise $3,500 to help homeless pets.
Everyone is welcome to enter a photo of their pet in the contest. Photos must fit into our Howl-O-Ween theme (pets in costume or pets in a Halloween setting). Photos can be entered into one of four categories:
- Top SafeHaven Alumni (Cat, dog, or small animal)
- Top Dog
- Best Cool Cat
- Best Fantastic Friend (Pet other than cat or dog. Rabbits, horses, and more!)
You can enter as many photos as you like. There is a $10 entry fee per photo.
Prizes
Top SafeHaven Alumni Prize:
- $400.00 gift certificate to Troutman Photography. ($200.00 goes towards shooting and $200.00 goes towards products.) Expires 8/31/19. Please check out their website for more information!
- Featured story in our Winter Pet Press magazine
- A small basket of pet supplies

There is a $10 fee to enter a photo in the contest. The deadline for submitting photos is 12 AM on November 2, 2018.
Voting closes at 12 AM on November 2, 2018.
