At my advanced age I've had LOTS of dogs, Dachshunds and Greyhounds.

THIS IS THE MOST WONDERFUL DOG I'VE EVER HAD! I adopted him from Safe Haven as "Rolo", but since he never stops being happy and wagging his tail, I gave him the German name (since he's German) of "Frölich", which means "happy" in German.

He has rid our house of rats, is faster than a cat or squirrel, loves EVERYONE and is incredibly intelligent, funny, devoted and affectionate. He is NEVER a problem.

He is very good natured in spite of having lost his home twice. I didn't get him until he was already up in years, maybe 9 years old. No one knows. At first I had to "foster" him because he was due for major surgery on his behind, which was paid for by donations to Safe Haven, over $3,500. So when I picked him up after surgery, here he comes down the hall wagging his tail, of course.

I'm asking a pretty low price. He deserves MUCH MORE, so give lots!
