Rules
General Contest Rules
- Contest Campaign ends December 31, 2016.
- Entry and Donation Fees are $25 per photo entry and $1 per vote (minimum 5 votes) there is no maximum number of votes.
- Submission Guidelines: all photos must be taken by pet owners, no stock photography accepted.
- All entries must be of dogs or cats only.
- You may enter multiple dogs or cats, each receiving their own votes.
- Once entered, all photos become the property of Saga Humane Society to use for print and marketing purposes.
- Any photo deemed inappropriate will be removed from the photo contest.
- All proceeds will go towards the care of dogs and cats now and in the future with Saga Humane Society.
- All donations are tax-deductible (please indicate if you would like a receipt for your donation).
- All donations are final.
- We encourage you to submit your favorite photos and ask your family and friends to vote and support our rescue!
- Submit your photo(s) with a minimum $25.00 donation per picture.
- You may enter as many times as you like. Photos will be accepted on the Saga Humane Society contest website from December 17, 2016, at 8:00 AM through December 31, 2016 at 10:00 PM for public viewing.
- Votes will be accepted on the Saga Humane Society contest website from December 17, 2016, at 8:00 AM through December 31, 2016 at 10:00 PM. Votes are $1 each. Top voted photos will win prizes as outlined below.
- Entrant must own full rights to photo and photos may not be copyrighted.
- Entrant retains rights to image but by submitting to the Saga Humane Society Home For The Holidays Photo Contest, they are giving Saga Humane Society non-exclusive and irrevocable royalty free license to use the photo as we wish.
CONTESTANT ENTRY INFORMATION
- Review photo guidelines below. All images are subject to review and acceptance by Saga Humane Society.
- You may enter as many photos as you wish.
- Complete the entry process and submit your photo in a JPEG, JPG, PNG or GIF format.
- Spread the word everywhere!! Ask family and friends to get online and vote for your photo!
- The Saga Humane Society Photo Contest Committee in accordance with the tabulation results provided by GoGo Photo Contest will select winning entrants. The top three winning entrants will be selected and prizes will be awarded by January 1, 2017.
- All submitted photos and information become the property of Saga Humane Society to be used at their discretion for any and all marketing purposes.
PHOTO GUIDELINES
- Dog and Cat images only.
- Landscape or square format only.
- Images must be high resolution, and taken with a camera of at least 4 megapixel quality. For reference, Iphones have an 8 megapixel camera and Samsung Galaxy S5 phones have a 16 megapixel camera.
- Minimum photo quality/size is 1500x1200 dpi.
- Original unedited images are preferred, but images with minimal editing are acceptable.
VOTER INFORMATION
- Each $1 donation counts as 1 vote, minimum 5 votes. You can place all votes on one entry or place them on multiple entries. When you donate to vote, you will have the option to "bank" votes to be applied on one or multiple entries as you wish.
- We encourage all members supporting our photo contest to share the website with family and friends via social media or email.
- All donations are non-refundable. Entries and donations must be made via the online contest page.
- Contest payments online are through a secure site. The Saga Foundation Ltd. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
