It was a rainy Sunday afternoon in April, when fate decided we were to meet the only dog left at the shelter. At first Dante was not the biggest fan and wanted to stay as about as far away from us as he could. Not even liver treats could buy his love. It was then that we brought in our secret weapon to meet him, our one year old baby hound Artemis. The spark had been lit, Dante was a different boy. Even the harshest of skeptics couldn’t argue that this was indeed love at first sight.
Now Dante enjoys long naps on the couch, snuggling in a lap, zoomies so fast his ears get completely inverted, and romantic candle lit dinners.
He is so very loved by our whole family and he knows it. His happy smile and tail wags never fail to melt our hearts.
This handsome face would make a perfect calendar boy!
