We’re looking for a dozen extra special pets to grace the pages of our SCCAS 2021 Calendar*. These lucky pets will be chosen by votes to represent each of months of the year with a picture selected from a private shoot by a local professional pet photographer, Photogra-V! Photogra-V specializes in lifestyle photography for families and small businesses. Their years of practice with dogs and patience with children make their photo shoots a fun and easygoing experience! Photogra-V supports the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter frequently by taking beautiful photos of the Shelter dogs to help promote them. We are excited to have them partner with us on our 2021 Calendar! In addition to winning a fun photoshoot, your entry fee (and vote donations) support thousands of homeless animals in need who come to our open-admission shelter each year.

Only one pet can be featured in the calendar photos, we are not able to accommodate group pet photos. Please see Prizes page for further details.

Enter Online – Fill out our entry form, upload your photo, submit your form of payment for entry fee you're ready to start promoting your pet! Your $25 entry also includes your own copy of the Shelter 2021 calendar.

Top 12 winners get a month page with the one date block of their choosing (as available). The month picture will be one from a professional photo-shoot provided by the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter!

Want a guaranteed spot in the calendar? Reserve a day to honor your pet. This can be for your pet's adoption anniversary, birthday, loved one's birthday, memorial or really any special day! Your pet's photo will appear on the day of your choice. Just choose your favorite photo and then choose the day and pay! First come first served. Once a date has been reserved, it will no longer be available. Each day is $15.
