Stout had been returned to the shelter system twice and had recently recovered from being very ill when we first brought him home five years ago. When he met Burton, it was like a scene from the movie "Step Brothers," and they both said "Did we just become best friends?!" These two boys now have a blast hanging with their 13 sisters - one other rescue pup, 11 rescue chickens, and one of the human toddler variety.
