Rules

The cat with the most votes will be featured on the cover.
The 12 cats with the next highest number of votes will be a “cat of the month” in ranked order. So January will go to the second-place cat, February to the third-place cat, etc.
Cats can be pets, fosters and community cats. They do NOT have to be SOCKS alumni.
1 vote = $1 donation.
The cats are the stars. There can be more than one cat in a photo, but no humans, please.
Photos must be taken by the cat’s owner, or with the owner’s permission, except for photos of “community” stray cats.
No copyrighted photos.
Cats must be depicted in a safe environment setting.
Digital photos are required and must be submitted via the contest website. To ensure good quality, we recommend you upload photos from your phone or camera at ORIGINAL SIZE.
If you are one of the top 13 winners, and your submitted photo’s quality will not reproduce well in the calendar, we will alert you and give you an opportunity to submit a replacement photo of the same pet(s).
We reserve the right to decline publication of any photo for any reason.
Once entered, SOCKS may use the photos for online, print, and marketing purposes.
By participating in this contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless SOCKS and each of its officers, directors, employees, representatives, volunteers and agents (collectively, the “Organization”) from and against any claims of any nature arising out of participation in the contest or receipt or use of any prize.
The contest is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
