Sadie’s mother was a stray dog, who wandered into my father-in-law’s yard soon after the passing of his wife of 41 years. We named her Goldie for the obvious reason of her being part Golden Retriever but also because my mother-in-law had long, blonde hair too. Goldie had a secret that was discovered a few weeks later with her birthing four puppies on my father-in-law’s back porch. Our Sadie was the runt and the only girl. We fell in love and welcomed into our family.

What is your pet’s favorite thing to do?
Sadie loves to sit by the back door and alert us to all the birds, squirrels, and cats that she sees. She also lives up to her Golden Retriever DNA at being good at chasing her ball and bringing it back. She’s a smart girl and knows how to sit and shake your hand to get a treat. Most of all, Sadie loves all the pets and snuggles she can get.
