About Us
We are a 501c3 rescue with a mission to improve the lives of animals in our area thru adoptions and community outreach. There are far too many animals being abused and neglected. We can all do our part. While we cannot fix everything right away, we will do our best to help as many as we can. We are not new to rescue...this journal started a decade ago. And this rescue is our chosen direction. We generally try to work with rescues in the northern states to get puppies to an area where they can live their best live. Everyone knows there is no shortage of puppies in SC, a state that has no laws to encourage responsible pet ownership.
We have a particular love the older tossed away or abandoned dogs. Many of these you will find in a hospice foster so they can live out the rest of their lives knowing they are loved and treasured. Our community outreach includes helping those who have a pet but can’t afford the cost of spay or neuter. And often not the annual vaccines either. We also provide food if needed. This is something that often hits our older senior citizens. Their income is limited but the love for their pets is often the only thing they have to hold onto. And remember, while you can’t do everything....everyone can do something. Step up and maybe the most important thing is to SPEAK OUT! Speak up for the abused animals that you see. Never turn a blind eye. Together we can!!
