Cedar was adopted in Fairbanks, AK 12 years ago. She was so tiny she could fit in my husband's sock. Since then she has ridden in bush planes, hiked all over Alaska, ski-joured, kayaked, rafted the Pilgrim River near Nome, multiple hikes in the Umpqua National Forest and just recently did a 30 mile hike in the Ruby Mtns. in NV. She is an amazing canine companion, and a good friend to Winston ... a stray kitten that showed up at our door 4 Christmases ago.
