Rules

• $1.00 per vote, no limit on number of times you can donate to vote.
• No copyright images allowed. Only original photo submitted.
• All donations are tax-deductible, consult your tax advisor.
• To be eligible to win, you must have over 50 votes ($50.00)
• Contest void where prohibited by law. Contest begins at 12:00AM EST, October 1, 2019 and all entries must be received by 11:59PM EST, November 4, 2019. Winners will be selected on November 5, 2019. All times are Eastern Standard Time (EST).
• Your photo submission to the Scholarscripts Spooktacular Halloween Contest must be original and created by you, not duplicated from any other source. The images must be in good taste, non-offensive, non-threatening, non-confidential, non-infringing of copyrights owned by others.
• By entering Scholarscripts Spooktacular Halloween Contest, you acknowledge that the costume you submit is your own original work, and does not contain any trademarks, logos, copyrighted material, or any other intellectual property belonging to any third party.
• ScholarScripts is not responsible for lost, interrupted, or unavailable network, server, or other connections, miscommunications, failed phone or computer hardware or software or telephone transmissions or technical failures, garbled or jumbled transmissions or other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical, or electronic.

• 1^st Place Winner, from one of the eight categories. Winner will receive $500 Cash and/or Scholarship. Winner's choice.
• Grand Prize Winner, overall most money raised from all categories combined, wins $1,000 Cash and/or Scholarship. Winner's choice.

Winner is solely responsible for any and all taxes on prize, as well as any and all expenses relative to participation in the Contest (including acceptance of prize) not specified herein. Prizes will be awarded within approximately 10 days after selection of winner. Prize monies and/or scholarship will be delivered via check to winner and/or organization, winner's choice.

ScholarScripts shall have no liability for any winner notification that is lost, intercepted or not received by a potential winner for any reason. In sole discretion, a selected winner may be required to forfeit his/her prize and an alternate winner may be selected in accordance with these Official Rules from among the remaining eligible entries if such selected winner: (i) is unreachable or winner notification is returned as undeliverable; (ii) declines or cannot accept, receive or use the prize for any reason; or (iii) fails to comply with these Official Rules. A forfeited prize may not be awarded.


The Contest is open to LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE FIFTY UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA. Contest void where prohibited by law. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.


Winners will be notified by email and must respond within ten (10) days of attempted notification or be disqualified. If a prize is returned as undeliverable, potential winner will be disqualified.

Submission of an entry constitutes the irrevocable grant to ScholarScripts of all rights in the entry, all rights to publish, use, adapt, edit, and/or modify such entry in any way and in any and all media, without limitation, and without consideration or acknowledgment to the entrant and the unconditional right to use the photograph and statements about the promotion for advertising/publicity purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.


In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Contest is impaired in any way for any reason, including, but not limited to fraud, virus, or other technical problem, may, in its sole discretion, either: (a) suspend the Contest to address the impairment and then resume the Contest in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Terms; or (b) award the prize from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. ScholarScripts reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of these Terms and Conditions or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, ScholarScripts reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.

By entering, participants release RemedyOne, ScholarScripts and Cancer for College from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by participation in the contest or the acceptance, possession, or use/misuse of a prize or participation in any prize-related activities.
