My Pet's Story
Napoleon "bun" came into our lives 3 years ago. His favorite treats are carrots, cilantro and blackberries. Even though he's 6 years old, he is very active. In his free time, he likes sleeping under the couch, chewing newspaper, and begging for treats. It would be great to have a rabbit included in this year's calendar! Here's a poem I wrote about him:

Ode to my rabbit
Napoleon pancake bunny loaf Weyer
Flopped ear, lopped ear
My heart flutters when you are near
Soft and sweet, tidy and neat
Trying to hump everyone you meet

Your favorite foods are carrots
But I can hardly bare it
When you poop on my carpet

Digging is your favorite thing
In our home, you are king
In our hearts, you reign supreme

You remind me of a grumpy man
When I try to clean your litter pan
If you are happy you like to bip
If you are sad you like to make me trip

You like to groom and like to eat
And you would be roadkill on the street
If it we didn’t meet
