Comfort & Joy Story
Maverick came to us by chance, He was 5 months old and was found abandoned in the So Cal highlands, Tired, hungry, thirsty and dirty. While trying to find an owner for him, his personality won our family over. We did not want or need a second Dog but we quickly grew to love the antics of this Husky. Mavi was a rambunctious young man but blossomed into one of the calmest chill Huskies I have ever seen. People who saw him said he was Majestic! He was a great Joy to have and our rescue Shepard loved him too. (Don't tell her I told you that). Maverick spent several years with our family and friends. He loved the snow days so much I would have to pick him up to load him in the car because he did not want to leave the mountains, He loved boating, beach days, camping, hiking, swimming and being the self proclaimed king of our family, but he knew - I was the pack leader! We loved Maverick and miss him dearly. We lost Mavi to lymphoma when he was only 8, If Maverick wins, we will donate the winnings to Shadow Husky Rescue !! We Love what they do!
