Comfort & Joy Story
Dioji came into our life at the perfect time. We were making the very hard decision of putting down our 15 year old, love of my life chow, who we had rescued off the streets 11 years earlier.
Dioji had been living on the streets as well and was so lucky to be found by a wonderful human who contacted shadow husky rescue. She drove Dioji 7+ hours to us…I’ll forever be grateful.
This husky brought love, energy, and a fierce loyalty that I believe only a rescue can. He immediately bonded to me and would not leave my side. He loves car rides, food, and snuggling. He doesn’t like to be left alone and will jump in the car and refuse to get out if he thinks we’re going somewhere without him. He loves playing with his 3 siblings, and hunting small creatures outside (yuck!) but would prefer being next to me.
Dioji helped me through the hardest time and I love him more than words can express. If you want to know the truth…I didn’t rescue him, he rescued me 🖤🤍
