Comfort & Joy Story
Though I have many favorite photo's of Koda, this is my favorite one.
Taken on the hilltops above Leavitt Lake (No.Cal) on one of our many disbursed camping trips. We adopted Koda as a 6 month old puppy. From day one, we knew that there was something special about this girl. She was friendly to all dogs and humans (not so much the felines). Though she never had puppies of her own, she was very motherly to puppies. She always got excited to see them and wanted to be playful with them: especially young huskies. In addition to being an all around wonderful member of the family, she was my go-to friend. She was always ready for: a walk; a hike; backpacking trips, where she helped me up some steep hills; and, wilderness camping trips. Koda, I miss you...
