It’s so satisfying seeing a dog who was shy and unsure settle in and feel safe enough to sleep like this!

I got Raney from the Riverside shelter. My heart dog was just killed 2 days before. I was in deep sorrow and he understood. He’s the gentle boss among the pack now. He loves brushing and cuddles and kisses. He is extremely sensitive and respectful but definitely has a playful side. His alter ego super hero kicks in and he goes from Prince Ranier to Flash the Flying Race Dog! Chase and zoomies happen! He also loves to jump and bounce on the bed like a little kid. It’s hilarious! Comfort and joy is something we all get.
