Comfort & Joy Story
Aurora was our first malamute. We got her at the local shelter. I admit I knew very little about northern breeds so we bought a book on the way home. Thankfully I read it that night, because so did Aurora. She never met a human she didn't like, and every human feel in love with her. She has since crossed the rainbow bridge, but she will always be my heart and soul dog, and the beginnings of my love for the northern breeds. We 'rescued' her, but she saved me. We are currently on our 3rd & 4th malamutes, and they fill our days with sunshine, laughter and love.
