Nine lives and zero rights? “Not anymore,” says Dallas, a Border Collie mix and proud Cat-vocate fighting for feline equality in Shelby County. Armed with protest signs and an Angry Cat stuffie, Dallas is barking for justice and equal access to the Spooktacular Pooches Halloween Contest. “I was born in the woods of a small town in Walker County,” explained Dallas. “There’s no such thing as paw-rivilege out there. That’s why I’m leading the Meowvement. United we stand, divided we shed.”
